Clear Braces Fayetteville AR | Scott J Stephens Dental Blog

Orthodontics is a rite of passage for many young adults, but patients of all ages can benefit from a properly aligned smile. At the office of Scott J. Stephens, DDS, we offer cosmetic braces to patients in the Fayetteville, AR area because not everyone is lucky enough to have had braces as a kid!

When you come to our dental office for your orthodontic consultation, Dr. Stephens will discuss your goals for your smile. What bothers you about the alignment of your teeth? Does anything cause you discomfort? Sensitivity? Dr. Stephens wants to make sure that your results look and feel great.

Once we discuss your goals, we will perform an evaluation to give Dr. Stephens an idea of the type of braces that will work best for you and how long you can expect your treatment to last.

If you want fast results, Dr. Stephens may recommend Six Month Smiles because treatment generally lasts an average of six months, which our patients love! He will plan your treatment, focusing only on your front teeth that are visible when you smile, which results in quick treatment times.

Six Month Smiles uses clear brackets and a clear memory wire to minimize the impact on your smile during treatment.

For more complex cases that focus on all your teeth, we use Smart Moves Clear Aligners, which are similar to Invisalign aligners. Smart Moves uses clear, plastic aligner trays that you change out every few weeks to gradually move your teeth close to ideal alignment. Smart Moves can address problems such as crowding, overlapping, and overbites.

If you are an adult looking to improve the alignment of your teeth with cosmetic braces, Dr. Scott J. Stephens and our entire team look forward to helping you achieve your goals for your appearance.
